Abstract

This work, presented at the 17th SEPEG - Undergraduate Research Seminar of the Instituto de Estudos da Linguagem (Unicamp), at Table 2: Teaching Portuguese Language 1, and inserted in the field of studies of Applied Linguistics, aimed to answer the following question of research: would a game created to combat fake news be a relevant digital literacy strategy with high school students? For this, it carried out an action research with students from the public network of a popular pre-university course, in order to contribute to the formulation of hypotheses that consider the game as a tool capable of stimulating the recognition of fake news. Guided by Prof. Dr. Inês Signorini, the research of this work was part of the Institutional Program for Scientific Initiation Scholarships (PIBIC) 2020/2021 at Unicamp and had the support of CNPq.
