The present study analyzed the dynamics and goals of the World Scout Environment Programme (WSEP) as possible disseminators of EcoJustice Education for Boy Scouts aged between 15 and 17 years old. Based on such understandings, the EcoJustice approach by Martusewicz, Edmundson and Lupinacci (2011) understands the power structures driven by patterns of domination that define socio-environmental impacts on all forms of life, especially vulnerable groups by race , gender, sexual orientation or social class. With similar precepts addressed in EcoJustice, the Scout Movement (non-profit educational movement for young people) proposes the civic education of children and adolescents through learning by doing and contact with the environment (DIAS, 2022; RAPOSO, KRELLING, CAVALLET, 2019). Scouting is classified as a non-formal education movement that, through the Scout Method, collaborates in the formation of critical individuals. Combining the theory of EcoJustice with the Scout Method, two interventions were carried out with the Tropa Sênior Mista Makalu to verify whether the precepts of EcoJustice are found in WSEP.Downloads
