ANÁLISE DO MODO DE ENDEREÇAMENTO DE UM VÍDEO DE DIVULGAÇÃO CIENTÍFICA DE PREVENÇÃO À COVID-19
Abstract
This article presents a study about the mode of address of a scientific dissemination video on the prevention of COVID-19. In it, we bring together the concept of mode of address and science communication, associating the dissemination of knowledge to the general population. Thus, we mobilize the notion of addressing proposed by Elizabeth Ellsworth, which states that films, as well as books and letters, are addressed to a previously thought audience. The study methodology is supported by theoretical mode of address and references such as the approach to French film analysis. We analyzed the video titled “O que é coronavírus? - Prevenção e dicas para crianças - COVID-19” published by Smile and Learn - Portuguese channel on Youtube. As a result, it can be noted that it is a children's educational video. The intention of the video is that children can learn about the coronavirus and protective measures. In this animation, a child talks and interacts with the spectators who are also children. However, although it is recognized that the video is aimed at children, this does not mean that only children will have visual pleasure in reading it. But for the successful construction of works of science communication with this characteristic, it is interesting that the producers have a notion of the foundation of the modes of address.Downloads
