ALGUMA EXTEMPORANEIDADE NO RISO: PIADAS ANTIGAS, CIRCUNSTÂNCIAS NOVAS, EFEITOS SIMILARES

RESUMO: A partir de cinco exemplos de situações cômicas relatadas por Quintiliano na Antigüidade, cotejados com outras anedotas modernas equiparáveis, procuramos mostrar que o humor pode ser mais transcultural do que se costuma pensar e que, dessa forma, mesmo piadas produzidas em circunstâncias distantes do nosso contexto (cronológica, geográfica e lingüisticamente) podem ser e, na maior parte das vezes, são engraçadas para nós. ABSTRACT: From five examples of comic situations related by Quintilian in the Antiquity, compared with other similar modern anecdotes, we are trying to show that the humour can be more transcultural than we are used to believe and, so, even jokes produced in distant circumstances of our context (chronological, geographically and linguisticly) they can be and, most of the times, are funny for us.
