O presente ensaio ocupa-se de visualidades poéticas no Virgílio das Éclogas, isto é, imagens verbais que produzem phantasía na recepção desses poemas. Essas características visuais da poesia são trabalhadas tanto sob a perspectiva elocutiva, como sob a perspectiva das funcionalidades poéticas e suas finalidades neste gênero poético. Portanto, o trabalho, de um lado, opera a associação entre écfrase e digressão; e, de outro, discute a doutrina horaciana do dulce et utile, em dois momentos das Bucólicas de Virgílio.References
