Dos "erros" de Sófocles aos indícios concretos do "caso" Édipo
Keywords:
Oedipus rex. Orade. Memory and forgetfulness. Empirical observation.Abstract
This artide deals with the specific status of oracular knowledge in Oedipus Rex. Different fram Antígone, Sophodes seems to withdraw most of the divine aspects from Tiresias' wisdom, which thus drifts towards Oedipus' empirical knowledge. The seer appears to have his place within the power structures of the Theban palace, whose members relentlessly keep the secrets of the unspeakable deeds which occurred in the past. Our reading highlights the iranic treatment of human strategies in this tragedy of Sophodes' maturity.References
