ASPECTOS DA SINTAXE DE POSIÇÃO DO VERBO NA HISTÓRIA DO PORTUGUÊS EUROPEU

RESUMO: Neste artigo, são apresentadas algumas das questões tematizadas por pesquisa (em andamento) cujo objetivo é, entre outros aspectos, definir a posição de verbos finitos na estrutura oracional de duas gramáticas na história do Português Europeu: Português Europeu Moderno e Português Médio. A discussão será realizada no âmbito do quadro teórico da gramática gerativa em sua versão minimalista (cf., por exemplo, Chomsky 1995). ABSTRACT: In this paper are presented some of the questions approached by research (in progress) whose goal is, amog other aspects, to define the position of finite verbs in the clause strucuture of two grammars in the history of European Portuguese: Modern European Portuguese and Middle Portuguese. The discussion will be made within the framework of generative grammar in its minimalist version (cf., for instance, Chomsky 1995).
